Education and Honors
Nermana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2014, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She received her J.D. degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, ASU, in 2018. During her time in law school, Nermana focused exclusively on family and children’s issues. She was named a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar in recognition of academic excellence.
Nermana exclusively practices in the area of Family Law, focusing on contested and uncontested divorce, spousal maintenance claims, child support and custody issues, prenuptial agreements, and more. Nermana also worked for JacksonWhite as a Law Clerk, focusing her time shadowing senior attorneys and supporting them in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the Arizona Attorney General’s office and represented the Department of Child Safety in Juvenile Court in dependency and severance hearings. Nermana also worked as an extern with a boutique family law firm in Scottsdale.
Nermana was born and raised in Bosnia. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 2000. She fluently speaks, reads and writes Bosnian.
