Eric Jackson is the founding shareholder for JacksonWhite. He has been practicing law since 1978 and focuses his practice in the area of civil litigation, including: estate, business, construction, commercial and real estate litigation. Eric receives the highest ratings for competency and ethics from Martindale-Hubbell, the leading lawyer rating and referral service, and has been recognized by several other rating services as a top lawyer.
Bar Admissions: Eric has been licensed to practice both in the State of Arizona and the State of Utah since 1978. He is also licensed to practice law in the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Districts of Arizona and Utah.
Education and Honors: Eric earned his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1978 representing the law school in both Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions. Prior to this distinction, Eric attended Arizona State University and Brigham Young University and earned his undergraduate degree in communication, with an emphasis in journalism.
Professional Activities and Experience: Eric is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and Utah. Eric is a member of the State Bar Construction Law section, and the Probate and Trust sections. He is the past president of the Mesa Rotary Club, former chairman of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, former chairman for the 2005 Mesa Citizens Bond Committee. He is an active board member of WESTMARC. Eric has been selected as a 2016 Top Rated Lawyer in Commercial Litigation by American Lawyer Media, along with Martindale-Hubbell™, to highlight “Top Rated Lawyers.”
Personal: Eric and his wife Saurell have six children and 18 grandchildren. He enjoys theater, music, sports, hiking, and travel. Eric served a three year church mission in San Jose, California, 2008-2011.
