Ashelee Weeks joined the firm in 2018 as an Associate, and practices in the area of criminal defense. Her practice focuses on both misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses, with an emphasis on DUI/DWI charges. Ashelee is dedicated to her clients and ensuring that she provides the best service she can in each and every case.
Bar Admissions: Ashelee was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2012. She is licensed to practice in Arizona state courts.
Education and Honors: Ashelee earned her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 2000, with a degree in Community Health. She received her JD from the University of Baltimore Law School in 2012.
Professional Activities and Experience: Before joining JacksonWhite, Ashelee worked as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The experience and knowledge gained working in the prosecutor’s office allows Ashelee a unique understanding of both sides of the equation. She understands the processes and guidelines county prosecutors adhere to and can use that information to help develop the best criminal defense strategy for her clients. After working with the county, Ashelee went into private practice, creating her own firm Weeks Law, PLLC. In addition to her experience in the courtroom, Ashelee has also worked as an adjunct professor of criminal law at Arizona Summit Law School.
Personal: In her spare time, Ashelee is an outdoor adventurer. She enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, canyoneering, and four-wheeling. Ashelee is also the proud mother of two children.
