Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC<\/a>) Florence, is located in Florence, Arizona, and is run by Warden Jeff Van Winkle. The facility is a mixed level security prison that currently houses just under 4,000 inmates across 6 distinct units.<\/p>\n

As of April 13, 2020, due to COVID-19, the Arizona Department of Corrections suspended both legal and non-legal visitation until \u201cfurther notice, at which time the suspension will be reevaluated.\u201d As of December 2020, the Arizona Department of Corrections is still not allowing legal or non-legal visitation, but when the spread of COVID-19 begins to decrease visitation will be allowed to resume.<\/p>\n

Florence Prison Units<\/h2>\n

Florence Prison is divided into 6 units and each unit has differing security levels and access to specific work and self-improvement programs. These are the 6 units:<\/p>\n
