Attorney John Skiba to Help Individuals and Businesses in Financial Distress
MESA, Ariz. (June 1, 2009) – JacksonWhite P.C., is pleased to announce the recent hire of attorney John N. Skiba. Skiba practices bankruptcy law, assisting both individuals and businesses in financial distress. He also handles general creditor/debtor legal issues and chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. He has been an Arizona bankruptcy attorney since 2003.
Skiba is a member of the State Bar of Arizona (bankruptcy section), the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Skiba earned his undergraduate degree in sociology from Brigham Young University (BYU). While at BYU, he played varsity football and was part of the inaugural Mountain West Conference football championship team. Skiba went on to graduate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During law school he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert C. Jones, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Nevada.
