Mark Heath, criminal defense lawyer AZ, joined the firm in 2011 as an associate. Mark practices in the area of criminal defense. His practice emphasizes white collar crime as well as felony and misdemeanor matters in both juvenile and adult courts.
Bar Admissions: Mark was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2007. He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Arizona.
Education and Honors: Mark earned his undergraduate degree in history, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University – Hawaii in 2004. He received his J.D. from the Roger Williams University School of Law in 2007.
Professional Activities and Experience: Mark teaches master’s level online courses in Criminal Justice Ethics. He is also a former Deputy County Attorney for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he worked over a thousand criminal cases including dangerous felonies and homicides. During his four years as a prosecutor, he also worked with the Fraud and Identity Theft Bureau where he focused on the prosecution of white collar crimes including elder fiduciary abuse, embezzlement, corporate theft, and money laundering.
Personal: When he is not representing clients, Mark enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and hiking as well as surfing when he gets a chance to travel. Mark also speaks Tagalog and Ilokano (Filipino dialects).
