John N. Skiba

John Skiba is a bankruptcy attorney in Mesa Arizona, assisting individuals and businesses in financial distress. He also handles general creditor/debtor legal issues and chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.

Bar Admissions: John is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

 Education and Honors: John earned his undergraduate degree in sociology from Brigham Young University and graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Professional Activities and Experience: John is a member of the State Bar of Arizona (Bankruptcy Section), the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. During law school John served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert C. Jones, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Nevada.

Personal: John enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid college football fan. Prior to law school John was a two-year starter on the offensive line at Brigham Young University where he was part of the inaugural Mountain West Conference football champions. John and his wife, Jessica, are the parents of six children.
