Cody Pederson, 28, told his girlfriend that he and her ten-year-old son were going out for a walk.  He failed to mention that they would also be breaking into homes. Pederson didn’t just steal from the houses he and the boy broke into, he also damaged property.  He caused about $5,500 worth of damage in one home after he broke the basement window, covered the walls in black paint, ripped cabinet doors off of hinges, and put holes in the walls.  Cops discovered two sets of footprints coming away from that particular house—one large, one small. At another home, Pederson

24-year-old Jacob Kulke was arrested in early December after he was found trying to break into the Nashville home of singer Taylor Swift. Tennessee prosecutors have decided not to press charges. Attorney for Kulke, Sean McKinney, claims that he was able to get the charges dropped by arguing several points, one of them being that Swift did not have any “No Trespassing” signs posted at her residence. Kulke also claims that guards at the house told him that he could go on to the property. However, neither of those stands as justification for why Kulke was attempting to break into

While the two were waiting for police to arrive, the homeowner asked the intruder two questions: the homeowner asked the intruder what his name was and what he was doing inside of his house. The intruder told the homeowner his name was Lance and explained that he was “just unlucky.”
