Possibly. Although an out of state DUI conviction does not usually affect a person’s Arizona license, it potentially could. The MVD is an administrative agency that can revoke an Arizona resident’s license under certain circumstances. The MVD normally mails any of the potential administrative actions or other information against your Arizona license to the address they have on file. As a result, it is important for Arizona drivers to make sure that they keep a valid address on file with the MVD at all times. This is because the MVD assumes that you will receive the notice and/or documents if they were mailed to the most recent address they have on file.
