Does my juvenile record disappear on my 18th birthday?

A juvenile record doesn’t automatically disappear when you turn 18. You will need to file a motion for destruction of juvenile record. An Arizona criminal defense attorney would advise of the ability to apply for destruction of your juvenile record or even better, would calendar it and do it for you as part of the representation.  Applying to clear the juvenile record is not expensive but can be costly in the future if the record isn’t removed.
